Cameron Joshua Dowd (age 18) was injured when the 1998 Ford pickup truck he was driving south on Georgia 87 (Abbeville Highway) ran off the roadway, hit a culvert and then hit a tree. The accident happened on Monday, September 9, 2013 at approximately 10:43 a.m. Dowd was taken to Dodge County Hospital and then transferred to the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon by helicopter.
