At their first meeting in 2013, the Dodge County Board of Commissioners amended the 2013 budget approved on December 28, 2012. Amendments were made to the Dodge County Probate Court, Dodge County Tax Commissioner and E-911 budgets. Interim county manager Bobby Peacock recommended that the probate court budget be reduced by $10,000.00, the tax commissioner budget be reduced by $7000.00 and E-911 be increased by the $17,000.00. Peacock told commissioners that the increase in the E-911 budget would be used to “bulk up” the medical insurance budget.
