Gas prices begin falling in Georgia

Average retail gasoline prices in Georgia have fallen 4.0 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.47 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 5,883 gas outlets in Georgia. This compares with the national average that has fallen 3.3 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.57 per gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com. Gas prices have recently dropped below $3.30 per gallon in Eastman.

Including the change in gas prices in Georgia during the past week, prices yesterday were 6.4 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 12.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 10.7 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 10.4 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
