The Eastman Fire Department responded to a fire at 5616 Bacon Avenue on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. The call was received at 5:05 a.m. to a home owned by Tyler Connell. Renter, Quendolyn Legreair, and her family were at home at the time of the incident, but got out of the home uninjured. The fire began on the stove and there was heavy damage to the kitchen.
