The shop belonging to James David Odum at 6694 Fred Bohannon Road, Eastman, was in flames when Eastman fireman arrived at 4:09 p.m. on Sunday, March 15. According to Eastman Fire Department Chief Carl Johnson, the shop was a total loss and damage occurred to the end of the mobile home closest to the shop. Chief Johnson also stated that the cause of the fire was electrical. Volunteers from Crossroads Fire Department and Dodge State Prison were called in for manpower and water to help extinguish the fire. (Photos by Cindy Eckles)
