Two people were injured and taken to Dodge County Hospital when their vehicles collided at the intersection of the Milan Eastman Road and Georgia Highway 165 at approximately 3:24 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4. According to the Georgia State Patrol report, Sophia Carin Jones, age 26, of Eastman, was driving a 2013 Kia Sorento south on the Milan Eastman Road and stopped at the intersection of Georgia 165. She pulled into the path of Bridget Gordon, age 48, of Chauncey, driving a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ east on Georgia 165. The Kia came to rest in the roadway and the Chevrolet ended up in the ditch.
